An imitation of Spain's well-known "running of the bulls", this annual festival (also known as Sanmiguelada) usually takes place on the third Saturday of September in San Miguel de Allende. The festival is in honor of Saint Michael the Archangel and involves dances, concerts, fireworks and, of course, bulls running running through the town.
