RE/MAX Fenix is part of two listing services operated by local real estate boards, the Multiple Listing Services (MLS) of the G.I.L and the Mexican Bolsa Index (M.B.I.) of A.M.P.I. Chapala. There are approximately 500 homes currently for sale in the Lake Chapala area by the various agencies. The listings range from $10,000 US for a one-room bungalow up to $1,900,000 US for a lakefront estate. The average home sold through the MLS in 1999 was a two bedroom, two bath home that sold for about $128,000 US.
