ImageThermal springs, ferias and shopping malls make Aguascalientes an engaging and enjoyable place to visit and live.

Museo Jose Guadalupe Posada:

Posada is considered by many to be the founding father of Mexican modern art. His satirical cartoons and engravings from the Porfiriato dictatorship brought in a wider audience for Mexican art. At the same time, Posada drew attention to social problems and influenced artists such as Diego Rivera. Posada's hallmark was the calavera (skull), which also featured in many of his engravings, some of which have become icons of Mexican culture.
Details: Jardin El Encino (El Encino Garden), on Diaz de Leon, about 450m south of Lopez Mateos Oriente.

Expo Plaza:
Expo Plaza is a modern entertainment center that boasts a US style mall, a multi-screen cinema, and some cafes. The center would seem like many others if it weren't for the neo-colonial styled bull-ring. The plaza can be found at about a kilometer west of Plaza de la Patria.

Thermal Springs:
Centro Deportivo Ojo Caliente is the place to go if you want some heat, but be aware that the main pool isn't that hot. If you want really hot water then rent one of the private pools.

Feria de San Marcos:
The biggest annual fair in all of Mexico starts in mid-April and lasts 22 days, with an enormous parade that takes place on April 25. The fair revolves around rodeos, cock-fights, bull-fights, free concerts, exhibitions, and an international film festival. Most of the attractions take place in Expo Plaza.
