Living in Villahermosa

ImageVillahermosa means beautiful town - maybe this isn't true for the entire city, but that doesn't mean to say that Villahermosa doesn't have some hidden treasures.

Villahermosa sits on two intersecting rivers, 80 km from the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, which is the distance the Spanish settlers had to move in order to escape the grasp of the pirate Francis Drake, who terrorized the nearby coast.

The town center enjoys some beautiful architecture, while the La Venta Museum /Park offers incredible Olmec statues in beautiful surroundings.
