ImageVillahermosa is a major Mexican city but bear in mind that in late 2007 it was ravaged by floods. Be sure to check the status of the city and the recovery process before making investments.

It's main industries are foods, metal, lumber, textiles, and paper production. The average rental cost for a house is 6000 pesos per month, while the average rental cost for an office is 256 pesos per square meter.

Water costs for industrial use are at 3.46 pesos per cubic meter, while electricity costs 0.43 pesos per kW/hr. The city has its own airport and population is currently at just over half a million people. As in most of Mexico, the majority of the population is under 30 years of age.
