Doing Business in Tabasco

This oil-rich state has a long coastline on the Gulf of Mexico, which is where Cortés disembarked in 1519. With several Pemex plants located in the state, Tabasco supplies a significant share of the nation’s propane and butane gas. Thanks to its warm climate and rich soil deposits, Tabasco is a major producer of cocoa, coconuts and other tropical fruits.
