Oaxaca is Mexico's fifth largest state with 95,363 km2 of which 597 km are part of the pacific coast line and a population of over 3.5 million inhabitants. Their most important freeways connect the State with Puebla, Mexico City, Veracruz, Tabasco and Chiapas. Oaxaca's economy is based on agriculture, tourism, livestock and crafted arts.
