What Can SolutionsAbroad Offer Me?There are 2 main yet distinct ways that SolutionsAbroad.com will be of service to you. The first way is as a registered member. SA members' needs are for information, products or services. Members are searching for answers to questions about Mexico, are trying to locate businesses that can service their needs, and are hoping to find people who have already walked in their shoes or who can offer ideas and insight into the Mexican experience. The second way SolutionsAbroad can be of service to you is as a Service Provider. Service Providers are businesses offering products or services to expatriates moving to or living in Mexico. Our business directory lists our current service providers. Browsing through the directory will give you an idea of the breadth of services, everything from real estate agents to computer programmers, offered by our Certified Service Providers. Member Privileges Ready to join SolutionsAbroad? Membership is FREE. Just click here to get started. Your privileges as a member are many. To start with, you will be set up with your own personal information portal, the My SA, seen here. Set up like a mini homepage, My SA is your personal headquarters from which you can access all the features offered to SolutionsAbroad members. The two main tabs, Member and Community Finder, contain all the features available to SA members.
Under the Member tab, Ask Sam is a record of all your communications with the editorial team of SolutionsAbroad. "Sam," the mascot and figurehead for our collective knowledge about Mexico, is always available to address your inquiries. The Service Request tab is where all your requests for products or services of our many Service Providers are collected and organized. Here you will be able to track the progress of your service requests, communicate with your chosen service providers, and create new requests. This immensely handy feature is available exclusively at SolutionsAbroad. My Properties is where developments or properties that you tag in the SolutionsAbroad Real Estate Directory are saved for your future reference. My Expat Resources is a library of articles automatically pulled for you by SolutionsAbroad about the city in Mexico in which you live or plan to live. The Referrals tab is where you can sign up friends as members of SolutionsAbroad, and under Events you will find all the upcoming happenings related to your profile. Members can also create new events which will be added to the SolutionsAbroad main site calendar. Also, the Ads tab is where you can create and upload classified ads for free.
Through the Community Finder tab, update your profile information under Contact Info. Join and participate in one of SolutionsAbroad's many discussion groups about Mexico through the Forums tab, or browse, create and comment on Blogs in this section. Make Connections with other SolutionsAbroad members under this tab by searching our member database and beginning a dialogue with other expats.
