El Habanero: nice, cousy, small restaurant which specialties come from the Yucatan’s state cuisine. A must if you live in la del Valle or if you awake in the morning with the desire to try something new. Louisiana 24. Col. Napoles. Monday – Sunday 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. 5223-1802 or 5223-2785.

El Bajio: excellent Mexican food in a relaxed atmosphere. Av. Cuauhtemoc 462 (Parque Delta Shopping Center) Monday – Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 pm.

Mi Gusto Es: one of the most popular and delicious seafood restaurants in Mexico. The quality, flavor, variety, freshness and traditional cooking will make you want to come back.

La Strega: One of the best choices in the city when speaking Italian food. The restaurant is a story itself. Maricopa 11, Col. Napoles Monday – Saturday 800 -1200 Sunday 800 – 600. Phone: 5687-5339 or 5523-5821.

There are always the national and international fast food and restaurant chains like McDonald’s, Burger King, Johnny Rockets, Ruben’s, Friday, Freedom, Chili’s, Hooters, Domino’s, Pizza Hut, Little Cesar’s, Sushi Itto’s, Mr. Sushi, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Satrbuck’s, Helen’s, IHOP’s, VIPS or Wings, where you will always find something familiar for you to enjoy.

Want to do something different try the racing track at the Hipodromo de las Americas where you will have an excellent afternoon with friends and family. You will never believe Mexico’s race track until you go. Fully renovated, there are restaurants for all budgets going from international to Mexican cuisine with buffet services and menu options. Don’t worry about loosing money, there are 10 races in an afternoon and the minimum bet you can place is of $5.00 pesos (US 0.30 cents). Guaranteed fun with a few bucks.
