ImageBeaches, diving, fishing and drinking are all part of the fun in San Carlos, a haven for expats.

Algodones Beach:
Algodones (cotton-balls) Beach is so called because the surrounding white sand-dunes bear resemblance to balls of cotton. The sand on the beach is also of a fine, white texture and the combination of the sand and the clear blue sea is a beautiful contrast to behold against the surrounding desert landscape.

There are hotels of economy and luxury levels, while the option of camping on the beach is also open. People come to Algodones Beach to enjoy the natural beauty, as well as to practice a variety of water-sports.

Panoramic Lookout:
The lookout is located on the opposite side of Marina Real de San Carlos, an unsurpassed vantage point for viewing the beauty of San Carlos Tetakawi Hill, especially during sun-sets.

Diving:
El Mar Diving Center is set up to maximize the diving experience, with all the necessary equipment at hand. They offer a variety of packages that visit the diving locations around San Carlos.
