Fishing: Gary's Dive Shop was the first 100% legal, federally certificated and licensed maritime operator in San Carlos. The twenty-nine person staff is very experienced with an average of over 12 years in the field, and diving, fishing, snorkeling and whale watching trips are available, as well as bay and sunset cruises, dive instruction, rental and repair services. Las Barajitas Canyon: Las Barajitas is a canyon that is only reached by boat on the shores of the Sea of Cortez. The canyon consists of 2,000 acres of desert and canyon and 2,200 yards of shore line. Las Barajitas is considered to be a "sacred place" by the Cun Caac (Seri) Indians, and the eco-tourism that takes place here strives to maintain the natural beauty of the area.
