 Hello! and Welcome! to our newly redesigned website and newsletter. The re-launch of SolutionsAbroad.com has been nearly a year in the making, and we are excited to be able to present it to our members at last. With this revamped newsletter format, we will be bringing you the information you are looking for about Mexico in an attractive and easy-to-maneuver format.
Over the course of the next few newsletters, we will be introducing you to the variety of new features that have been built into the site to better serve you, our esteemed members, in offering a complete online resource for expats living in Mexico as well as for those of you thinking about heading to Mexico soon. The My SA profile page of SolutionsAbroad This newsletter will focus on the new My SA profile that all members receive after registering. As you can see from the photo, we've stuffed lots of information into one central "dashboard" or portal by which you can do quite a few cool new things. Start just by clicking on all the tabs. Member Tab Features Under the member tab you will find a variety of features only available to our registered users. The Ask Sam feature is the same as what you remember from the previous site, with the added ability of keeping a record of all past and present conversations with Sam Solutions. The service request tab will manage all your communications with our service providers in a clean, easy-to-read manner. You can always go to this tab to create a new service request. And, remember, in order for your service request to be assigned to one of our certified providers, you must submit its questionnaire (which is also found under this tab). Furthermore, you can quickly check the status of any of your service requests or send a message to the service provider via the Service Request Listing tab. So far so good? The next tab, My Properties, pulls resources together for you based on properties that you flag in our real estate directory. When you find a property in our real estate directory that interests you, just click Save to My Properties on its details page, and it will be available under this tab in you My SA for future reference. We now have a way for our members to add events on our website! Just go to the Events tab and send us the info on the event you are sponsoring or going to attend. We'll do the rest. You can also create and submit a classified ad under the next tab that can be viewed by all our site users and fellow members. Community Tab Features Switch gears now, and click on the Community Finder tab. This is a key section that is designed to keep you in touch with the ever-growing expat community in Mexico. The forum and blog tabs are great because each keeps all your forum subscriptions or blog entries organized in one place and lets you know if new posts appear in the forum threads that you have subscribed to. The next tab, Connections, is a pivotal feature of SolutionsAbroad.com. Unique to our site, in this section you can search for and communicate with other SA members. Use this tab to find expats or other members that are living in Mexico with whom you would like to start a dialogue. This communication between members is a fantastic resource for all our site users and will help many of you to gain invaluable first-hand information about life in Mexico, be it about a town of your choice, a business venture or up-to-the-minute travel information.
